Get your camera out and take lots of photos this month. Perhaps create a Hall of Fame and put your employees' photos up when they accomplish something spectactular or reach a milestone. Tie in photo terms with your day-to-day activities: e.g., the need to focus, get the right exposure, turn negatives into positives, the importance of a "smile," etc. Challenge your best amateur photographers to put together a little presentation that relates the parallels between photography and your work activities.

Made on May 13, 1896. A good time to tie in a promotion with the local Ford dealer perhaps. Or focus on activities that relate your day-to-day activities to autos and driving. Examples: stage a sales contest and mark individuals' progress on a wall-sized map with little auto cutouts. Come up with suitable ways to recognize and reward your people: e.g., free car washes, oil changes, air gauges, sun visors, use of a rental car for a week, free gas fill-ups, etc.
